Per Michael Bay’s personal blog, the director declared today, October 1st, as “Day One” for the next installment in the Transformers film franchise:

It’s old news, at least by Internet standards anyway, but at Germany’s GamesCon, Sonty final made some hardware announcements.
1st, effective immediately (or until online stores make the appropriate changes) the PS3 80GB model has dropped in price $100, to a new attractive price of $299.

Came across this photo earlier today with Mickey Rourke in costume on the set of Iron Man 2. Note that his chest plate has a similar look to Tony Stark’s armor, as the technology is clearly based in the same roots.
